Hey, readers welcome back! Today we are going to be talking about carnations. They are really popular and pretty flowers. But I like to notify you that all of this information comes from this link. This link also provides you tips about growing carnations, if you are interested. Anyways let’s get started.

The first thing I want to talk about is their name. Did you know that carnations aren’t their real name? Their real name is Dianthus. How did they get their name? They got their name Dianthus from two Greek words Dios and anthros. Dios referring to the god Zeus and anthros meaning flower. So combined their name means The Flowers of God.

The next thing, I want to talk about is the meanings of each carnation.  Did you even know that each carnation has a different meaning? If you did a good job, if you didn’t it’s ok, you will know now. So let’s continue. In general, all carnations mean fascination and woman’s, love, but only the pink one means Mother’s love. The light red ones mean admiration, but the dark red ones mean deep love and a women’s affection. The white ones mean Pure love and good luck.  The striped ones mean regret and refusal. The green ones mean St. Patrick’s day.  The yellow ones mean disappointment and dejection. Now to the last one. The purple ones mean capriciousness.

Now after you read this what is your favorite carnation? What did you think about my post? What is your opinions about carnations? You can answer all of these questions in the comment box down below. Into the next post. See you guy next time. BYE!!!!!!!!!
